Marriott New York JFK Airport

Stayed for one night between flights. Jovannie at the front desk was extremely helpful, kind, sweet, and friendly. Made our check-in process so easy, and actually fun because she was so nice. What a great representative of the company to great guests first. Jissle in the M club was fantastic. Great bartender, she was sweet and friendly. She made great drinks too. Junior did a great job too. Our room met our expectations for a Marriott, which is why we are Bonvoy members. We had food at the hotel because we were tired. The food was very good for hotel food. I didn’t have high expectations but to my surprise I would eat here again. Highly recommend the Marriott JFK.

Listen, my family and I came from out of town and was STUCK! I called the Marriott in Jamaica Queens/JFK at the last minute and the lady Magva was sooo nice, understanding, prompt and saved our life! Then we get there and Shim at the front desk was welcoming, nice, professional and he made the whole transition just as easy. I really appreciate both of them (somebody give them a raise).. we thank you and will definitely be back to stay. The room was clean, spacious and room service was prompt too. Thank you!!!

I checked in about an hour ago. And had to make sure i include a good review. I have been to many other Marriotts around the world and i usually find them good to ok-ish, so right off the bat I was not expecting much when i chose this property. But this has been impressing me so far. The front desk blonde woman (cant remember her name but it starts with an H) was very sweet and helpful and addressed all the info i wanted to know before i even got to ask. I also got to meet sean in the M club and had a great convo with him. Very polite and elegant. Rooms are also really good and i got a decent view! Will definitely main this property as my go to whenever i have a layover at jfk. Thank you for the great experience!!

I usually avoid “airport” hotels whenever possible. I haven’t had the best experiences with them in the past. I have to say, this one has exceeded pretty much—every expectation. The shuttle arrived promptly at the airport and I was helped with my heavy bags. Check-in was very smooth and very friendly, thanks to Lily at the front desk. The hotel has welcoming seating areas, everything appears to be new and or well cared for. The hotel is also very clean and quiet. The rooms are simple, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I also had a nice view of both the jets taking off at the airport and the city skyline on the other side. Most importantly, my bed was comfortable and foam pillows were waiting for me when I arrived (as requested). For a frequent traveler, these details make a huge difference. The room does provide a small refrigerator and a coffee station but only decaffeinated coffee was provided, would have preferred both options. Plug-ins and charging stations are provided for both beds in the double room, which is another important detail often missed, thank you! The hotel restaurant “Quimby” is lovely, clean and nicely designed, complete with a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was friendly and very prompt, and the food was good—plenty of fresh fruit and healthy options, good coffee. What more could I ask for? This is going to be my new stopover spot for international flights.

Best airport hotel experience! The shuttle from JFK was easy to find, and the instructions were clear and simple. The return shuttle runs every 30 minutes on the clock and conveniently drops you off at your specific gate. Room service food was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly, and everything was spotless. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with the customer service when, I entered the hotel. Fortunate, Was Awesome- she definitely is working in her passion areas. The individuals that made my stay extra pleasant- Lily, Fortune, Dontae’, Sarah, Shawnda, Moveta, Eric, Shane. Romario, Isreal & Bernard DeShaunjae was the young lady that assisted me with check in. Lily was the young-lady, I met when I called to confirm my stay. She was also very helpful and customer friendly. Great hotel, good gym. Good breakfast . However the one thing that bothered me is the smoke detector in the room. I dunno who designed it but they placed it in the spot right above the bed and it was a bright LED light that blinks every 5 seconds. Very annoying. What's the point of having shades to block out all the light when the room lights up every 5 seconds from the smoke detector.

We had a very nice stay here. We had a flight early in the morning, so we decided to stay overnight at the airport. We looked at a few options and settled on the Marriott as a good compromise between cost and room quality. The ratio turned out to be about right. The room was fine, if a bit standard. Nothing special. The location was not quite as close to the airport as I thought it would be due to the maze of traffic leading into the airport. What made the stay worth the cost was definitely the friendly staff. We actually could not believe it. After a couple of weeks in the South we expected to come back to the ‘normal’ NY service. We were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and helpful the staff was. They have obviously been trained very well, so good marks to the staff and the management. We also enjoyed a dinner at the restaurant (to be reviewed separately). The morning shuttle to the departure area was good, but make sure to plan for enough time during busy hours.
